Biography

Bhaskar Jyoti Dutta is a founder, researcher, and engineer at the intersection of robotics, AI, and perception systems. Co-founder and Director of Hertzwell, he leads the development of intelligent millimeter-wave radar systems for autonomous vehicles and border security, combining advanced signal processing with deep learning for real-time object detection and occupancy estimation.

His research spans AI safety, mutual interpretability between systems, and RF Foundation Models—universal models trained on raw wireless data for hardware-agnostic perception across radar, WiFi, and sensing domains. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a Master's in Mechatronics from the National University of Singapore, and is a published researcher in AI ethics, ASI risk taxonomy, and emergent intelligence.

Earlier, Bhaskar contributed to cutting-edge robotics projects at Infinium Robotics, including autonomous UAS systems for logistics. Based in Singapore, he is passionate about embodied AI, edge computing, and what it means for perception systems to understand themselves.
